Be Brave, Be Bold, Be YOU!

Hey everyone, sorry I've been gone so long! I have missed writing on here. Today I want to talk about this year long devotional called the "Brave Girls Devotional" which is about these five girls named Hope, Glory, Honor, Gracie and Faith.

I love them because they basically go through the same things we girls go through💖  But most of all I love that it talks about Jesus in ways we girls understand! The devotional always starts with a bible verse😇 clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ. Forget about satisfying your sinful self. Romans 13:14. Then at the bottom there is something called a prayer pointer which talks about what you learned. So mothers, talking from a girl perspective, I would recommend this for your girls entering their teen years.

Before I log off, I would like to talk to you about me and my moms new Facebook page called Gods Golden Girls👸. A few nights ago I talked to my mom about not liking the way I look. We talked about how the enemy lies to us girls about our worth being in how we look or how much weigh. So we decided to make a group for moms and daughters to come together and address these lies and build each other up. We want girls to know their inner beauty and that they are more precious than gold. You can join that group HERE.

Don't Compare

Have you ever thought you are dumb because someone else can do something you can't  do ?                                                                                     

 I felt that way once!                                                                                                                                 You see, I play soccer and I'm not good at running.                                                                                                                                                       But there's a girl on my soccer team and she's great at running!                                                                                                                                         But there are things I am great at doing, like defense!                                                                                                                        

See God did not make everyone the same.                                                                                         People are different in many different way's!  Don't compare yourself to other people because God made you in your own special way.                                                                                          

So if  you think your really bad at something just  practice at it and sooner or later you will do it!

I am More than Gold!

Do you know you are worth more than gold? What?  I thought God loved  gold .  It's  shiny  and very  elegant  .  I know  let me  get  this  straight  for  you.  Let's  start  at  the  very  beginning .  It   was   completely  dark but God  made light  and  earth  and  all  the planets and all the animals then the best  creation yet .  What  is  it the new barbie or  robot in town?  No silly, us. Us? I was thinking more like the new x box 3!  

Now do you get it?  Yeah a little but I still don't get why God would love us more than gold?  Because he made something in this case, us, alive. He made us in his image and wants to be friends with us. Now do you get it? 

Ohh now I get it but I don't go to church. You don't have to go to church to know God. You can read the Bible and pray right where you are.  

Wait a second I need to get something...and then he came back with a bible and says "can you  read Adam and eves  story?".

Why did I start this blog?

The day I stated to blog  my mom said "do you want to blog"I said yes! so when we went home I started to blog I love doing it now . so  now I blog all the time and its my favorite thing to do.  God has not given me a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.
